3 Punches That Will Guarantee A Knock-Out

Anyone who watches a boxing match is always on the edge of their seats, anticipating that blow that will send an opponent reeling, and of course, lead to a Knockout! As the main goal of the boxer, a knockout is hard to achieve if one doesn't have a strategy.

It's important to know what strategies there are but, it is even more vital to know how to apply these strategies:

 

RIGHT CROSS EXCHANGE

A counter-punch that is outright considered the strongest that you can used on your opponent. It takes punching from your strong hand to throw off your opponent's biggest punch by using his momentum. Should your opponent swings his head into the punch, expect more damage to be done!
Tip: Aim for his chin.

 

RIGHT CROSS OVER THE JAB

This counter punch is even effective when your opponent takes longer to retract their jabs. It becomes one of the easiest counter punches to take effect!
While waiting for your opponent's long jab to land, you should dip your head to the inner side and then throw a right cross over your opponent's extended arm. 

Tip: Damage will be more if you land that cross just as your opponent's jab is extending out.

 

LEFT HOOK AGAINST THE RIGHT CROSS

The last punch that would guarantee you a knock-out requires you to land your left hook right when your opponent's right hand is pulled back. 

Of course, anyone would be afraid of getting thrown off by a returning punch. So, to avoid your opponent's counter, while you throw your hook, turn your head!

Before mastering these punches, you'll need to practice a lot and learn how to deal with aggressive opponents: time your counters and work on your technique. 

 

Have confidence in yourself! If you've been diligent with your sparring sessions and training, expect to send your opponent sprawling down and not able to get up again. Be aggressive and intentional with your punches. Wait for the right window of opportunity to open and you'll be on your way to winning.
